SPAGHETTI WITH SHRIMPS, GARLIC & FENNEL

Ingredients (4 servings): 1 package of Spaghetti No 5
  • 400 g. Νο 2 shrimps, peeled
  • 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup fennel, finely chopped
  • 180 ml. white wine
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • a pinch of freshly ground pepper
Execution: Cook the Spaghetti in boiling salted water, according to the instructions. Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the shrimps for 1 minute, until they start to change color. Add the garlic and continue to sauté for 1 more minute. Pour the wine and when the alcohol has evaporated, add the salt, freshly ground pepper, the finely chopped fennel and the lemon juice. Stir carefully. Drain the Spaghetti and toss them into the pan with the shrimps. Mix carefully and serve.
